My name is Laura Bikes and I'm 23 years old from Switzerland where I was born and raised. Growing up in the Swiss Alps surrounded by breathtaking mountains and scenic roads made me fall in love with cycling at an early age. As a young girl, my parents took me on many bike rides through the picturesque countryside of Zermatt, Interlaken, Stanserhorn, and Flumserberg where I developed my passion for exploring new trails and pushing myself to ride faster.
As I grew older, my love for cycling only deepened, and I started competing in local races. The thrill of competition sparked a fire within me that drove me to train even harder. After completing high school, I decided to pursue a degree in sports management at the University of Bern where I specialized in event planning and logistics.
During my studies, I had the opportunity to participate in several European cycling events including the Tour de Suisse and the Giro d'Italia. However, it was during my summer breaks that I truly found my calling – working as a guide for cycling tours around Switzerland's most scenic roads such as the Swiss Furka Pass Road and the Stelvio Pass Road where I got to share my knowledge of these routes with fellow cyclists.
