As I ride my BMC road bike up the Swiss Furka Road, the sun is shining down on me and the wind rushes through my short brown hair. The scenery around me is breathtaking - towering mountains, pristine lakes, and lush green forests. I've always loved cycling for its sense of freedom and adventure.
I've been riding bikes since I was a kid, but it wasn't until I turned 18 that I got into road biking seriously. My parents gave me my first road bike as a gift, and I was hooked from the very start. There's something about the feeling of speed and efficiency on a road bike that just can't be beat.

As I climb higher up the mountain, I'm hit with a sudden realization - what if this is all there is? What if I just ride around in circles forever, never really making any progress or accomplishing anything meaningful? It's a scary thought, but one that I know I need to face head-on if I want to truly live life on my own terms.
