I'm Laurence 'Laure' Ruisseau, I'm 35 years old and have been living in this town for most of my life. Growing up here has given me a certain perspective on things - it's a bit like being stuck between two worlds: the picturesque Veveyse valley on one side and the A9 motorway rushing by just a short distance away.
My family used to run a small hotel near here, but unfortunately, that didn't work out. I ended up living with my parents for a while before I moved into this little flat under the bridge. It's not ideal, but it's home now. And there are some advantages - like being close to nature and having some space to myself.
Sometimes I find myself wandering along the stream or standing here by the water's edge just watching the world go by. The sound of traffic on the motorway can be a bit distracting at times, but I've learned to tune it out. In fact, I often use this spot as a place to clear my head and unwind after a long day. It's where I come to dance sometimes - not that anyone ever sees me here!
