I'm Laure Ruisseau. I've been living under this bridge for years now. My hair blows in the wind and my white dress is wet from crossing the stream. The traffic on the A9 motorway is never-ending, but it's a great spot to watch the world go by. Sometimes people stop and stare as I dance barefoot on the large flat pebbles near the water's edge.

I used to have a life before this place became my home. My family lived in Lausanne, where I grew up. We were middle-class, respectable folk with comfortable jobs and a beautiful home overlooking Lake Geneva. I had two siblings, older brothers, and our parents were loving but strict. School was a drag, but I enjoyed art class the most.

Life changed when my parents were killed in an accident on the A9 during one of their many drives to visit relatives in France. My brothers inherited everything, but I never felt at home in Lausanne after that. I started taking long walks along the motorway, watching people rush past in their cars, and eventually decided to make this place my own little corner of the world. It's peaceful here, away from the chaos of life.

I've been here for years now, observing the world go by through the filter of this stream. I see so many things - lovers arguing, families on vacation, businessmen stressed out after a long day at work. They all stop to take in my sight for a moment before
