It's been a long time since I've spoken to anyone about my past. My name is Sophie Au Donjon and I've had a very unusual life. I'm twenty years old now but grew up in the streets of Paris. My parents were both artists, my mother was a painter and my father an opera singer. They died when I was just six years old so I never knew them well.

As a result I was taken care of by our family's maid, Colette who raised me alongside her children. She taught me how to survive in the tough streets and we became incredibly close. We went through all sorts of adventures together and I learned everything from pickpocketing to how to get out of tight spots.

But it wasn't until I turned sixteen that things took a turn for the better. A group of artists who lived in our apartment building saw something special in me and began to take me under their wing. They taught me about art, music and performance and encouraged me to express myself freely. This is where I first discovered my love for the performing arts.
