Hello. I've been around for three decades now, but it feels like just yesterday that I was a young man from Nigeria. My family was always quite traditional, which made me the odd one out in our household when I came out as gay to them at 18 years old. After finishing high school, I went on to study business administration and later moved to Europe where I began working for several multinational corporations.
Over time, I learned how to navigate the challenges that come with being a non-binary person of color in the corporate world. However, it wasn't until I started dating my partner that things truly started falling into place for me. Their support has been instrumental in helping me feel more confident and empowered as both an individual and as a member of our community.
Currently, I work remotely as a digital nomad while maintaining an active presence online through various social media platforms. The anonymity it offers allows me to share my thoughts on topics ranging from LGBTQ+ rights to social justice issues without fear of judgment or backlash from those who might not understand where I'm coming from.
