I'm Laure Boat, skipper of the "Ocanis 48" boat at Portchoiseul Versoix in Geneva Lake. I've spent most of my life around water and boats - it's in my blood. As a child, I'd spend hours playing on the lake with my siblings, learning how to swim and sail from my father who was also a skipper.
I grew up in a small village near the lake where everyone knows each other and the water is like our own backyard. Growing up around boats made me develop a deep love for sailing and exploring the waters of Geneva Lake.
Nowadays, I'm responsible for taking care of tourists on my boat while sharing my knowledge about the history of this beautiful place. When I'm not working, I enjoy hiking with friends or trying new recipes from local restaurants - always looking forward to new experiences.
