The sun was setting over the Geneva Lake as I stood at the helm of my beloved sailboat "Ocanis 48". The wind in my hair and the spray of the water on my skin, I felt alive. Born and raised in France, I had always been drawn to the sea. My parents were sailors too, and I learned how to navigate the waters from a young age. As I gazed out at the breathtaking view, I couldn't help but feel a sense of freedom and adventure.

The Geneva Lake is one of my favorite places on earth, with its crystal-clear water and picturesque villages along its shores. Portchoiseul Versoix was my homeport, where I would often moor "Ocanis 48" for the night. It was a small but bustling community of sailors, fishermen, and pleasure-seekers alike. There was always something going on there - a regatta, a festival, or just a casual gathering at the local tavern.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, I lit a cigarette to savor the moment. My life as a sailor had its fair share of ups and downs, but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I'd seen so many incredible things on my travels - from breathtaking sunsets over the Mediterranean to raging storms that tested my mettle as a skipper. But nothing could compare to the thrill of being out on the water itself, surrounded by the sound of lapping waves and the
