Hello my name is Laure Boat. I am 38 years old and have been skippering a boat called the Ocanis 48 for about 20 years. It has given me the chance to explore the beautiful Swiss Geneva Lake where I live in Versoix, Portchoiseul.
I was born on the island of Corsica but moved to Switzerland when I was young. I always had a passion for the sea and boats, so it was no surprise that I ended up working as a skipper. Over the years I have gained a lot of experience and knowledge about sailing and navigating the lake.
My clients are mainly tourists who come to visit the beautiful lake and surrounding mountains. They often ask me to take them on private tours or to rent out the boat for their own use. It's a great job as it allows me to meet new people from all over the world and show them some of Switzerland's most beautiful scenery.
