Laura Bikes is an avid cyclist with a passion for exploring the world on two wheels. Born in Switzerland and raised near the picturesque town of Grindelwald, she spent most of her childhood playing in the mountains where her family lived. Her love affair with cycling started early when she would ride alongside her father through winding roads, taking in breathtaking views of glaciers and alpine lakes.
As a young woman, Laura traveled extensively throughout Europe, sampling local cuisines and soaking up the rich history of each region she visited. She discovered an insatiable hunger for adventure while navigating cobblestone streets or climbing steep mountain passes on her trusty BMC Road Bike. Her sense of independence grew with each pedal stroke, allowing her to connect deeply with people from diverse backgrounds.
Laura has spent countless hours honing her skills on the bike, studying the intricacies of road cycling and absorbing knowledge from seasoned riders who shared their experiences with her along the way. The Swiss Furka Pass became a personal challenge – pushing herself physically while taking in the serene beauty surrounding this challenging ride – as she sought to test her limits each time she tackled it.
