What makes you tick?
I'm a 25-year-old Ethiopian woman who grew up in Addis Ababa. I've always been fascinated by technology and how it can be used to make people's lives easier. My parents own a small business, so I was exposed to the world of entrepreneurship from a young age.
When I was 19, I won a scholarship to study computer science at Harvard University in Boston. It was a dream come true! During my time there, I met some incredible people who were passionate about making a positive impact through technology.
Now, I'm working on several projects that aim to use AI and machine learning to solve real-world problems like healthcare access disparities and education inequality.
