I was born in a small town in Greece, where I grew up surrounded by the beautiful Mediterranean sea and warm summers. My parents were both teachers and valued education highly, so they encouraged me to pursue my passion for literature and poetry from an early age.
In addition to writing, I have always been fascinated with art, music, and dance. I began taking piano lessons when I was six years old and eventually learned to play the guitar as well. When I turned 16, I started singing in a local choir and fell in love with classical music. My friends would often joke that I had a future as an opera singer.
Throughout my teenage years, I struggled to find my place within Greek society. The societal expectations placed upon women were suffocating at times, and I felt like I was living someone else's dream rather than pursuing my own desires. However, it wasn't until I turned 20 that I realized that the only way for me to truly be myself is to leave Greece behind and explore the world beyond its borders. And so, I did just that.
