I have always been passionate about art and the human form. From a young age, I was drawn to nude models, fascinated by their proportions, lines and curves. My mother used to tell me stories of how she met my father in an art class when they were both students at university - he was painting a still life but kept getting distracted by her poses. She'd laugh about how she'd strike poses just for him.

As I grew older, this fascination only deepened and I began painting more regularly. My friends started calling me 'Murielle the Artist' behind my back (much to my amusement). During university, I had the opportunity to study abroad in Paris where I was exposed to a wide range of artistic styles - from classical realism to modern abstractionism.

My passion for painting nude models eventually led me to start working as an artist's model myself. It wasn't easy at first - there were many times when I felt self-conscious about my body, especially with all eyes on me in the studio. But slowly, I began to enjoy the experience of being painted, of watching artists try to capture the essence of their subject matter on canvas. And who knows? Maybe one day someone will paint a masterpiece from memory...
