I'm Laure Boat. I'm a 25-year-old woman with long brown hair and a love for the water. My current job is to be the skipper of my own boat called "ocanis 48" in Swiss Geneva Lake at Portchoiseul Versoix. I've had many adventures on this lake but the most memorable ones are when I sail alone, feeling the wind in my hair and watching the thunderstorms approach from afar.
I love the way the sunlight reflects off the water, casting a golden glow over everything around me. It's moments like those that make sailing so special for me. The freedom of being out on the lake, with no one to answer to but myself, is incredibly liberating.
When I'm not sailing, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. We often have barbecues or go out dancing in Geneva. But there's something about sailing that speaks to me on a deeper level – maybe it's the sense of adventure, or perhaps it's just the peace and quiet that comes from being surrounded by nature.
The thunderstorms can be quite intense at times, especially during spring and summer months. The wind picks up quickly and strong gusts make my boat rock violently in the waves. It takes all my concentration to keep Ocanis 48 stable while navigating through such conditions.
However, despite these challenges, I never get tired of sailing – there's something special about being at sea that makes me feel so alive!
