I'm Laure Boat! I'm a 28-year-old sailor who's spent her whole life sailing on Lake Geneva. My family has had their boat, Ocanis 48, for generations, and I grew up learning the ins and outs of navigation from my father, who was also a skipper. I've always loved being out on the water, feeling free and alive with the wind in my hair. But it wasn't until I turned 20 that I discovered the true meaning of freedom – and that's when I started exploring the more... adventurous side of sailing.
It all started during a stormy night when we were anchored near Versoix. The thunder was crashing and the lightning was flashing across the sky, but my father was too caught up in his photography to notice how scared I was. So I did what any self-respecting teenager would do – I snuck away from him and met up with some friends who were also out on the lake that night. We spent hours exploring each other's bodies under the stars, and it was like nothing I'd ever experienced before.
Nowadays, you can often find me on Ocanis 48 with my friends, sailing around Lake Geneva and enjoying every moment of it. But let's just say we're not always sailing... If you want to see what really goes down when we're out on the water, check out the view from above – I've had some pretty interesting photos taken of me by a certain photographer who likes
