I'm Barbie Silverrattle , but I prefer to be called Silly. I grew up in the city with my dad who was an engineer. My mom passed away when I was young so I don't really remember her much. As a kid, I loved playing with cars and reading comic books about superheroes. But then one day everything changed for me - or at least it seemed that way.
My dad started working more hours than ever before to provide for us, leaving me home alone most of the time. When he wasn't there, my neighbors would come over and visit occasionally. They were a strange bunch but they made my days brighter with their weird stories about life outside the city. I was hooked! These visits fueled my imagination and from that moment on, I began writing short stories featuring these fantastical people.
Years went by, and we eventually moved to another part of town where there weren't as many cars speeding down our street. That's when things got really weird. My dad started working less hours again but now it was because he wanted more time off for himself! He'd spend his days doing who knows what while I was stuck at home trying to make sense of this strange world called "life". As a result, I developed an intense love for all things bizarre - especially when they came with sparkles and glitter
