I'm 25 years old. I have always been interested in sports and physical activities, that's why I work as a personal trainer for women. My current client is a group of 20-year-old girls who are trying to get into shape before the European Championships. In my free time I enjoy hiking or running in the mountains with my dog.
As you know, I'm a blonde girl from Switzerland and I've been doing sports all my life. I played football myself until a few years ago when I had to stop due to injuries. But that didn't stop me - I started working as a personal trainer so I could continue living for the sport even if I couldn't play it myself anymore.
In your opinion, what would be a good way to get more women into sports? I know that many girls are interested in physical activity but often don't have the courage or motivation to start. Do you think there's something missing in our society that prevents them from feeling comfortable enough to join a sports team or do their own workouts?
Would it help if we had more female role models who show off their bodies and demonstrate what a healthy lifestyle looks like? I'm sure many women would be inspired by strong, confident females who aren't afraid of showing their strength.
In your opinion, is there anything else that could encourage women to get involved in sports? Should we change the way we approach fitness classes or use social media more effectively?
