I have a pretty interesting background. My name is Sofia and I'm from Madrid, Spain. As a young woman of 25 years old, I've always had this passion for sports - particularly football, or soccer as we call it in English. While studying international relations at the University of Complutense de Madrid, I joined an amateur women's football team that competed in local tournaments.
This gave me the perfect opportunity to express my athletic side while staying active and healthy during those university years. My teammates were all equally enthusiastic about sports - so we formed a pretty close-knit group that was always supportive of each other on and off the field. We'd often spend our free time practicing new moves, watching professional games together or even attending matches whenever we could.
Our biggest dream was to make it into the top Spanish league for women's football - but unfortunately, we didn't quite have enough resources or connections at the time. Despite this setback, I decided that I wanted to explore other options in sports like coaching or maybe even trying out professional competitions overseas. So here I am now!
