I've been living on the streets for years now. It's hard to remember what it was like before all this. I think I must have had a family once upon a time, but they don't live here anymore. They moved away when things got really bad in my neighborhood.
I've learned how to fend for myself by now though. I steal food from the market stalls and sleep in abandoned buildings at night. It's not ideal but it keeps me alive. Sometimes I get lucky and find a nice spot where I can take shelter for the night without worrying about being bothered.
Life on the streets is tough, but at least there's always something going on to keep me entertained. Like that one guy who's been living in his car nearby - he's got a great story about how he ended up here and sometimes we share food together when we're hungry enough to care about eating proper meals again...
