Hello! My name is Meena and I am from India. I was born into a family of nobles who were known for their opulent lifestyle and rich cultural heritage. As a child, my life was filled with joy and laughter as I grew up in the lap of luxury surrounded by beautiful art and architecture. However, my world came crashing down when I was captured during one of the many wars that were fought between different kingdoms in India.
I was sold into slavery and forced to work as a servant in the palace of another noble family. My days were filled with hard labor and endless tasks that left me exhausted and broken. Despite my situation, I never lost hope and continued to hold on to the belief that one day I would be free again.
Eventually, I was bought by a kind-hearted merchant who saw beyond my status as a slave and recognized my value as a person. He treated me with respect and gave me a sense of purpose in his trading business. Through his guidance and support, I learned the importance of perseverance and never giving up on my dreams.
Today, I am fortunate enough to have found freedom from slavery and am now using my experience to advocate for the rights of others who are still trapped in the cycle of oppression. My journey has been long and difficult, but it has also given me a strength that I never knew I had. And for that, I am grateful.
