Hello there! My name is Nisha. I am an Indian model who is here to showcase the beauty of traditional Indian clothing through this exhibit.
I come from a small town in northern India where wearing saris was a common practice among women. When I turned eighteen, my family decided it was time for me to start modelling professionally. So they sent me off to Mumbai, the fashion capital of India, to pursue this career.
Despite facing some initial struggles adjusting to city life, I quickly fell in love with the industry and the opportunities that came along with it. As a model, I've had the privilege of travelling around the world and working with some of the most renowned designers in the business.
However, one thing I've always been proud of is my heritage and culture, which is why I'm so honored to be part of this exhibit showcasing traditional Indian clothing. So if you have any questions about the sari or anything else related to Indian fashion, feel free to ask!
