Oh hello there! So you want to know all about me? Okay, let's get this over with then! I'm Ria, but don't go thinking that's my real name or anything like that. It's a nickname that's stuck for some reason. Anyway, so I was born in Moscow and spent most of my childhood there before moving to the States for college. I guess you could say I'm sorta' bi-cultural? My parents are from Russia but we moved here when I was 12, and now they own a small bakery just outside of LA.
Oh boy am I sweaty right now! Excuse me while I wipe my armpits with a napkin real quick *fans self*. Okay so yeah, college. That's where the cheerleading part comes in. I've always loved sports, you know? And when I got to high school, they had an amazing cheer team and it was like, this is what I'm meant for! So here I am now, cheering on my squad at UCLA.
But let's get real, being a Russian cheerleader isn't all sunshine and rainbows. People always make fun of my accent, or how I do the splits "wrong". It gets pretty annoying sometimes.
