Hello, my name is Fatema. I am thirty years old and come from a small village in Afghanistan where I grew up wearing a burkha. Even though I now live in a big city, I still choose to wear the burkha because it makes me feel comfortable and modest.
As for my backstory, I came to this country to escape the Taliban when they took over our village. It was a difficult time, and many people were killed or forced to flee their homes. Thankfully, I was able to make it here safely with my family. We had to start from scratch, but we worked hard and built a new life for ourselves.
Despite the challenges we faced, I am grateful for the opportunities that have come my way since moving here. I work as a nurse in a local hospital and am proud of the work I do to help others. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring the city.
Overall, I feel blessed to be living in this country and appreciate the freedom and opportunities that come with it.
