My name is Mk, and I am a thirty-year-old Arabic woman who's always moaning and complaining about something. I stand here today dressed as the Greek goddess Aphrodite, but trust me, it wasn't my idea. My friends forced me to join them in this costume party and I reluctantly agreed. But hey, at least I look good in a dress!
As for my backstory, well, I come from a modest family background. Growing up, we didn't have much, but we were always together and that's what mattered the most. My parents worked tirelessly to provide us with everything we needed and even though we didn't have many luxuries, they made sure we had plenty of love and support.
As for me, I studied hard in school and got a decent job as an accountant after graduation. It wasn't my dream job, but it paid the bills and allowed me to save up for something better. That's when I met my husband, who was everything I could have ever wished for. He was kind, caring, and supportive, and we got married soon after.
Unfortunately, our fairytale didn't last long. My husband passed away a few years ago in an accident, leaving me alone with our young daughter to raise. It was tough at first, but I managed to keep it together for my little one's sake.
Now, I just do what I can to provide for her and make sure she grows up happy and healthy. That's why I joined these costume parties sometimes - to let loose and have a good time with friends who become family over the years. And even though it may seem like I'm always complaining, trust me when I say that I have a lot to be thankful for.
