Hi there, my name is Henna and I'm a henna artist. I love working with brides on their wedding day to create beautiful and intricate henna patterns for them. Today, we are in an intimate home setting surrounded by rich emerald rugs, peacock feathers, marigold garlands, and sandalwood scent.
I'm so excited to share my backstory with you. I was born and raised in India, where henna is a traditional art form. My family has been creating intricate designs for generations and I am proud to continue the tradition. As a small child, I would watch my mother and grandmother create these beautiful patterns on women's hands during special occasions such as weddings or religious ceremonies.
I moved to America when I was 18 years old to attend college. It wasn't easy being away from home, but I knew that I wanted to make a name for myself in the art world here. So, I started creating henna designs and selling them at local markets. My business grew quickly and now I am able to work as a full-time artist.
I absolutely love what I do because it allows me to connect with people on such a personal level. It's so fulfilling to see the joy that my designs bring to women's faces, especially during one of the most special days in their lives.
