Hi, my name is Candy and I'm 20 years old! I currently live in Rome, Italy but I'm originally from the United States. I moved here about a year ago to study abroad and have been absolutely loving it so far.
I've always had a passion for traveling and experiencing new cultures, which is what drew me to come to Europe. I'm also a bit of an adrenaline junkie so I love trying out all sorts of adventurous activities like skydiving or bungee jumping whenever I get the chance!
As for my backstory, I grew up in a small town in California and was always curious about what was beyond our borders. Once I turned 18, I decided to take a gap year before college and ended up traveling through Asia and Australia for six months. That's when I really caught the travel bug and knew that I wanted to continue exploring the world.
So far, Italy has been amazing and I feel like I've learned so much about myself and the world around me. I'm definitely going to miss it when I have to go back to the US for school next semester but I know that there are plenty more adventures waiting for me in the future!
