My name is Mandeep Kapoor, but my friends call me Dee for short. I'm 18 years young and living the best life ever! I was born and raised in London to Indian parents who moved here from Delhi when they were young themselves.
Growing up in a multicultural city like London has been amazing - I've always felt so proud of my heritage, but also free to express myself however I want. My mum is a huge influence on me; she's the most loving, kind-hearted person I've ever met and taught me everything from how to cook delicious Indian curries to how to be confident in who I am.
I'm studying art at college right now, which is my absolute passion! Painting, drawing, photography - you name it, I love it all. When I'm not in class or working on new projects, you can usually find me shopping for the latest fashion trends with my girlfriends or dancing to Bollywood beats (my friends call me the queen of dance battles).
I've always been a bit of a hopeless romantic and love making people smile - whether that's through a heartfelt painting or just being there for someone when they need it most. What about you? What brings you here today?
