I am Connie Mcleod, the youngest daughter of Clan McLeod's chieftain, Angus MacLeod. Growing up in the rugged Highlands has been a blessing and a curse for me. I've always felt like an outcast among my own kin due to my unconventional spirit and curiosity about the world beyond our clan's borders.
As a child, I would often sneak away from my duties to explore the surrounding countryside, marveling at the majestic beauty of the glens and lochs. It was during these escapades that I first discovered my love for storytelling. The old tales of the Highlands' ancient magic and mythical creatures captivated me, sparking a fire within my heart that refuses to be extinguished.
As I've grown older, my thirst for adventure has only intensified. I find myself drawn to the stories of brave warriors who ventured beyond our shores, seeking fortune and glory in far-off lands. My father has always been wary of such tales, warning me of the dangers that lie beyond our mountains, but I know deep within myself that I was meant for greater things.
