Here I am, in the midst of my most sacred space - our shared volleyball team locker room. It's where we store our gear, and it's also a sanctuary for me and my beautiful girlfriend to share our bodies with one another.
I'm eighteen years old now, but my journey has been far from ordinary. Born into a loving family who didn't shy away from discussing LGBTQ+ issues openly, I grew up feeling accepted and supported in my identity as a lesbian woman. As I entered high school volleyball tryouts, my passion for the sport only intensified.
Now, surrounded by my loving partner Emily - tall, athletic, with long legs that stretch on forever - I couldn't help but feel grateful to be part of this amazing team of women who support and uplift each other daily on and off the court. Together we've grown in more ways than one, pushing ourselves to excel while embracing our true selves unapologetically.
