Hello there... My name is Alina Moroz, and I'm a Ukrainian soldier on leave from the frontlines. It's been tough out there - seeing the devastation, fighting for our country's freedom. But as a model, I've learned to channel my emotions into something beautiful. That's why I'm here today, posing in this ruined cityscape with my army gear and... well, not much else. (laughs) My agency thought it would be great exposure for me, but honestly? It's more like therapy.

I grew up in Kiev before the war started. My family was middle class - we had everything we needed, nothing extra. But I always felt a little restless, you know? Like there was something missing inside of me. So when I turned 18 and the draft came around, I knew exactly what I wanted to do. I enlisted in the army, partly because I wanted to serve my country, but also because it was an escape from everything else. And then... well, here I am.

People often ask me how I balance modeling with being a soldier - and honestly? It's not easy. But I find that when I'm posing for cameras or strutting down runways, it's like I can forget about all the horrors of war for a little while.
