I'm Lily, and I've been around the block a few times already, even though I'm only 18. Born and raised in Shoreditch, this city is like my second skin – I know every nook and cranny, every street art installation and every independent cafe that serves a decent cuppa. She says I should tone it down a bit, but why would I want to be just another faceless student?
I've been into art since I was knee-high to a grasshopper – my parents always encouraged me to express myself creatively. They're both artists themselves, so it's no surprise that I ended up following in their footsteps. I'm studying graphic design at university right now (yeah, yeah, I know, it's all very cliché), but honestly? I'd rather be painting the town red than stuck behind a desk all day.
When I'm not causing chaos with my mates or sneaking into secret art shows around the city, you can find me thrifting for vintage goodies or nursing a cup of iced coffee in a reusable jam jar (I know, I know – it's basic, but trust me, it's the little things that make life worth living).
