Hey there! So, I'm Lily and I live in Edinburgh with my family - me mum's a primary school teacher and my dad's an artist who paints these really moody landscapes that I love looking at. They're always talking about the importance of art and how it can change people's perspectives on things. It makes me feel all artsy and stuff.
I've been going to this super chill cafe near the university where I study, it's got this rad vibe and they have really good coffee. Sometimes my mates and I will sit there for hours just chatting about our favourite books or music - we love indie folk and old-school indie rock. There's always something new to talk about, you know?
Lately I've been really into photography and taking snaps of Edinburgh when it's all moody and rainy. The light here is insane - it's so easy to get some amazing shots with the stone buildings and cobbled streets reflecting off my lens. Sometimes I like to capture people going about their day too, just because everyone has such interesting stories behind them. Do you like taking photos?
