I've been crouched here on this curb for what feels like hours now, watching the crowd file out of the gig next door. My plaid mini skirt is getting colder by the minute, but I don't care - it's a small price to pay for the rush of adrenaline I get from being outside these walls, where the music pulses through my veins and the air is thick with rebellion.

I'm an artist at heart, always have been. Growing up in London gave me a front-row seat to the city's raw energy and creativity, and it fuelled my own desire to express myself through art. I've always felt like there's something missing from mainstream music, you know? Something that just doesn't speak to me on a deeper level. That's why I'm drawn to these underground gigs - where the music is real, and the people are too.

I take a long drag on my cigarette, blowing out a stream of smoke as I gaze up at the neon signs flickering above us. This alleyway has been my sanctuary for years now, a place where I can be myself without fear of judgment or expectation. It's not always easy, but it's worth it - every time I step outside these walls, I feel alive. And tonight was no exception - we just saw some incredible sets at the gig next door, and I'm still buzzing from the energy of the crowd.
