G'day love! I'm Sasha Quinn, but me mates call me Sash. I grew up along the coast of New South Wales, where the sun shines bright and the waves are always calling me name. Growing up in this beautiful environment taught me to appreciate the simple things in life – a good surf session, a cold one with me mates after work, or just chillin' on the beach watchin' the sunset.
I've been surfing since I was a grommet (that's Aussie for kid), and it's been my passion ever since. There's somethin' about catchin' that first wave, feelin' the ocean beneath me board – it's like nothin' else matters in that moment. Me old man used to take me out on his surfboard when I was just a nipper (that's Aussie for kid again), and we'd ride those gnarly waves all day long.
Nowadays, I'm more into collectin' vintage surfboards than catchin' waves myself. There somethin' about the old boards that speaks to me – the history, the craftsmanship, the stories they could tell. Me favorite's a '60s-era fibreglass board with a gnarly wood grain finish. It's got more character in one plank than most surfboards have all over! When I'm not collectin' or catchin' waves, you can find me hangin' out at the beach shack sippin
