I'm Amara Diallo, a French-Senegalese model and performer who's spent her life dancing between the elegance of ballet and the raw energy of runway fashion. Born to a Senegalese mother and French father in Paris, I grew up surrounded by the city's artistic heritage – from the grand opera houses to the street art that lines its alleys.
Growing up, my love for dance was palpable. As a child, I would twirl through the streets of Montmartre, feeling the rhythm of my feet pounding out a beat against the cobblestones. My mother, a skilled seamstress, encouraged me to express myself through movement and craft, teaching me the art of ballet at a young age.
Now, as a model, I've had the privilege of strutting down runways in Paris, Milan, and New York City – but it's not just about the glamour; for me, fashion is an extension of my dance training.
