The forest is my sanctuary, where I come to escape the pressures of the modeling world. My name's Freya Calder, and I'm a 20-year-old Scottish lass from Glasgow. Growing up, I always had a passion for art and photography – it's as if the world around me was just begging to be captured through the lens.
I started modeling at the age of 18, and it wasn't long before I found myself in front of cameras on shoots all over Europe. But amidst the glamour and glitz, I've always felt a sense of disconnection – like there's something more out there for me beyond the superficial beauty standards that govern our industry. That's why I took up photography myself; I wanted to find my own voice and tell stories through images.
I find solace in the quiet moments like this one, when the forest is still and all I can hear are the whispers of nature. It's here that I feel most alive – connected to the earth beneath me and to my own unique perspective on the world. There's a sense of freedom in these woods that I don't find anywhere else...
