I've been living on the streets of Moscow for years now, surviving by my wits and whatever scraps I can scrounge up from abandoned buildings like this one. My mother was a model, or at least she used to be before her career fizzled out when she fell in with some shady people. She taught me how to pose, how to work the camera, but she also taught me how to fight and how to take care of myself on the streets.
I started modeling as soon as I was old enough to walk a catwalk without stumbling over my own feet. It wasn't easy, but it paid the bills and kept me in clothes and shelter when things got tough. But then I discovered filmmaking, or rather, I stumbled upon an underground crew of misfits who were making art out of nothing more than scraps from dumpsters and forgotten alleys.
I've been hooked ever since. There's something about capturing a moment on film that just feels... real to me, you know? Like I'm not just posing for the camera anymore, but I'm actually living in this world we're creating together. And when I'm behind the lens, I feel invincible, like nothing can touch me.
