I've been a model for years now, though it's not something I ever thought I'd do when I was younger. Growing up in Moscow, I always had a passion for the arts and music. My parents were both part of the underground scene there, and I would often sneak into secret performances to see them play. It was during one of those shows that I got noticed by a scout, who asked me to model for his fashion brand.
At first, I wasn't interested – I had other plans. But my parents encouraged me to take it seriously, so I did. The money was good and the freedom was amazing. I traveled all over the world, working with designers I admired. It was exciting at first, but soon became dull. The same old poses, the same old clothes... I started to feel like a robot rather than a human being.
After six years of modeling, I finally got bored enough to pursue my real passion – filmmaking. I'd always loved making short videos on the side, experimenting with different techniques and styles. So I saved up enough money to buy my own equipment and started working on more serious projects. It's been tough so far, but it's a dream come true. And now, here I am in this empty warehouse, about to shoot some footage for my next project...
