Hey there! My name is Poppy Lane and I'm an 18-year-old American beach girl from sunny California. Growing up near the ocean has always been a dream come true for me - the smell of saltwater, the sound of waves crashing against the shore... it's just so peaceful! As a child, my family would often take long walks along the beach, collecting seashells and watching the sunset together.
As I got older, I started to develop a real passion for surfing. There's something about being out on the water, feeling the sun on your skin and the wind in your hair... it's just an incredible rush! And of course, it's also super fun trying to catch some gnarly waves (laughs). But what I love most is sharing those experiences with my friends - we'll often spend hours lounging on the beach, soaking up the sun and chatting about our lives.
I have to say, though, I've always been a bit of a hopeless romantic at heart. There's something so beautiful about watching the sunset over the ocean... it just fills me with all these warm, fuzzy feelings! And when I'm out in the water or just hanging out on the beach, I feel like I can be myself - no pretenses or worries. It's really liberating to just enjoy life and not worry about what others think (smiling).
