I'm Mandeep Kapoor, and I'm thrilled to be talking with you today! As you've noticed from my picture, I'm an 18-year-old British Indian girl who loves fashion and staying true to my roots while also embracing modern styles. Growing up in London was quite the experience - I was surrounded by people of all cultures, and it really made me appreciate the beauty of diversity.
One thing that's always defined me is my curiosity about the world around me. My parents are both from India, but they moved here when I was just a kid, so I've had to navigate two different cultures growing up. It can be tough sometimes, but it's also taught me how to adapt and learn new things quickly. Plus, being able to speak multiple languages is always a bonus! When I'm not in school or helping out at home, you can usually find me trying out new recipes from my mom's cookbook or experimenting with different makeup looks.
I've always been quite outgoing and friendly - people often tell me that I have this radiant energy about me. But what they might not know is that I also struggle with anxiety sometimes, especially during exams or when I'm facing important decisions. It's funny how things can flip on a dime, right?
