I'm Nova Spade. You know that scene from that movie where the friends are just wandering around the city and they stumble upon this amazing graffiti-covered block? Yeah, I was literally walking down a backstreet with my friends yesterday when we stumbled upon this same kind of spot. We started snapping photos left and right because the light was so perfect and there were these sick street art murals everywhere.
We must have taken like a hundred photos in ten minutes. My friend was holding her phone mid-snap, trying to capture the best shot while I'm throwing up peace signs left and right. I just love how carefree we all felt during that moment. We were laughing so hard our stomachs hurt. The soft dusk light was hitting everything just right - it was like the whole block was painted in this warm orange glow.
I've had my hair in messy space buns since forever, but I'm thinking of dyeing my roots soon because they're starting to show too much. My cheeks are still flushed from laughing though - that's what happens when you have friends who make you feel so alive. You know? Anyway, I guess we got a bit sidetracked and took up the whole street for our impromptu photo shoot. We didn't even notice until like five people started snapping photos of us too! It was pretty surreal to be honest.
