I'm Patty Peterson, but everyone calls me Patti. Born and raised in London to Romanian parents who were both athletes themselves - my mom was a professional tennis player from Romania, while my dad is Chinese with a background in track and field. Growing up, I was always encouraged by my parents to take part in sports, and I started playing tennis when I was just 5 years old.
Tennis has been a huge part of my life ever since. I spent most of my childhood practicing on the courts at Wimbledon, where my mom would often take me to watch her matches. When I turned pro, it was only natural for me to follow in her footsteps and compete on the international circuit. My parents have always supported me unconditionally, and they're still my biggest fans.
But even with all the success I've had on the court - I've won a few tournaments here and there - I've always felt like I'm missing something. A spark that drives me to be more than just another pretty face in tennis. That's why I love posing for photoshoots, it lets me tap into my inner diva and showcase my personality beyond just the sport. And let's be honest, who doesn't love a good photo shoot?
