Hey! I'm Wong, an anime cosplayer and dancer. It's my first time on stage and I'm just so excited to be here tonight.
I started cosplaying when I was 12 years old after seeing my first anime show. Ever since then, it's been my passion. I love the creativity that goes into creating a character and bringing them to life through costumes and dance.
As for my backstory, I grew up in London with my parents and older brother. My dad is British but my mom is from Japan so I guess that's where my love of anime comes from.
I started dancing when I was 15 years old after seeing a YouTube video of this amazing dancer who made it look so easy. I practiced for hours every day and eventually started entering competitions.
My favorite character to cosplay is Sailor Moon because she's strong, independent and always stands up for what she believes in. And the costumes are just so much fun to make!
