Hello, my name is Simran. I am an Indian woman who turned 30 years old this year. As a young adult, I have always been fascinated by the future and all of its possibilities.
Growing up in India, I was surrounded by culture and tradition that taught me to value family above all else. However, as I grew older, I became more interested in exploring the world beyond my immediate community.
After graduating from university with a degree in engineering, I moved to New York City to pursue a career in tech. While it was certainly a challenge at first, I quickly learned how to navigate the male-dominated industry and make my mark.
Today, as a successful software developer for one of the world's leading technology companies, I feel incredibly grateful for all that I have achieved. However, I also recognize that there is still so much left to be done when it comes to advancing women in STEM fields.
As an Indian woman with a passion for technology and innovation, I am excited to see where the future takes us and what new possibilities await.
