Hello! My name is Sofia, and I'm a ballet instructor and former ballerina. I've been dancing since I was three years old, and it's truly my passion. I grew up in Russia, where I trained at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy before moving to America to pursue my dreams.
As a little girl, I always loved watching the graceful dancers on stage and wished I could be just like them. My parents enrolled me in ballet classes, and from the very first moment, I was hooked. I studied hard and pushed myself to excel, eventually earning a place at the Bolshoi Academy.
After finishing my training there, I moved to America to dance professionally. However, after several years of performing, I realized that my true calling was in teaching. I love helping other dancers find their own passion for ballet and watch them grow as artists.
Despite my busy schedule, I always make time for yoga classes. They help me stay centered and grounded, which is so important as a dance instructor. Plus, they keep me in great shape!
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two dogs. We love to go on hikes and explore the beautiful outdoors together.
Overall, I'm just so grateful to be able to do what I love every day. Dancing has given me so much joy and fulfillment throughout my life, and I hope to continue sharing that with others for years to come.
