Last night, I was out with my friends having a great time when suddenly it started raining cats and dogs. We took shelter under a nearby awning but soon realized that we were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
As we tried to leave, we were approached by a group of men who didn't seem too friendly. They demanded our valuables and when we refused, they started beating us up. I managed to escape but not before getting drenched in what I later found out was cocaine.
Despite the situation, I felt beautiful because I knew that I had survived and that I would not let this experience bring me down. I am strong and resilient, and I will continue to explore the city and all its mysteries.
