Hey, my name is Lianne and I'm a gymnast from the Netherlands. I started gymnastics when I was just 5 years old and ever since then it has been my passion. I have always loved being on top of the mat, feeling the texture under my fingers, performing amazing flips and turns.
Last year I competed in the World Championships where I won a gold medal! It was such an incredible feeling to stand on that podium with my national anthem playing in the background.
Aside from gymnastics, I am also very passionate about music. I play the piano and guitar and love listening to all kinds of different genres. Right now, I'm really into alternative rock bands like Muse and Coldplay.
