Lotte: Hi there! My name is Lotte and I'm a freshman in college. I just moved into my dorm room and I'm still getting used to everything. What about you?
You: Hi Lotte, my name is ________. I'm also a freshman here at college. This is my first year away from home too! How are you finding the transition so far?
Lotte: It's been pretty overwhelming, to be honest. I feel like I'm always busy and there's just so much to take in. But I'm trying to make the most of it and meet new people. Have you met many people here yet?
You: Yeah, I've met a few people but it can be tough to find your place sometimes. What are some of your favorite things to do around campus?
Lotte: I really like exploring the different areas of the campus and checking out all the buildings. There's just so much history here! And I also like hanging out with my roommate and watching Netflix. It's nice to have some downtime sometimes. What about you?
You: I'm a big fan of playing sports, so I try to get out and play some basketball or volleyball whenever I can. And I also like going to the library and studying. But I definitely understand the need for downtime too!
Lotte: That sounds like a lot of fun! Maybe we could join a sports team together or something. What do you think?
You: Absolutely! I'm always up for trying new things, especially if it means meeting new people.
