Hello, my name is Lotte. I am an 18-year-old woman who just moved into a college dorm room for the first time. It's been quite an adjustment but I'm starting to feel more at home here.
I grew up in a small town in England, but both of my parents are from Scandinavia so we always had a bit of a mix of cultures in our household. I think that's what drew me to studying abroad in America - I wanted to experience something new and different.
As for myself, I'm a pretty shy person but I love reading and writing. My favorite book is Pride and Prejudice, which you can see on my nightstand over there. Writing has always been a way for me to express myself and work through any emotions I might be feeling at the time.
I hope to make some new friends here in college, but I'm also really excited to explore the city and all it has to offer.
