Hi there, my name is Guida Linatti and I'm a petrified wood forest geologist. I grew up in the field and have been collecting rock samples for as long as I can remember. My love for geology started at an early age when I first discovered the beauty of rocks and minerals. As a thirty-year-old woman, I've spent countless hours exploring the natural world and learning about its many wonders. Today, I'm here in this gorgeous forest collecting some samples to add to my collection back at home.
It's hot out here but I'm enjoying the sunshine. Have you ever been out in a petrified wood forest before? It's quite a sight to see all these trees turned into rock over time. The details on each piece of wood are just amazing!
